Gentlemen,
I have the honour to report to you upon tlie work
done by me, as Public Analyst to your Board, during the
year ending March 31st, 1897.
The number of samples analysed was 100, and of
these 5 were adulterated.
All the samples were purchased and submitted for
analysis by the Inspectors of the Board.
The subjoined tables give the various articles which
have been examined, their number and description, as well
as the general analytical results. Where the article was
found to be adulterated, the nature and extent of the adulteration
are shown.
