In the case of the above vessels and premises, a notice to abate a nuisance,
arising from the sending forth from the chimney or funnel of the vessel black
smoke in such quantity as to be a nuisance, within 24 hours, was served upon
the owners or occupiers, and except in the case of those marked * there has
been no recurrence.
