THE STRAND DISTRICT, LONDON. 19
Diarrhoea.—12 deaths were attributed to this complaint,
8 being in children under 1 year of age. In
addition, 10 deaths were certified in the months of
August, September, and October, as due to enteritis,
9 of them being children.
