During the year, 1 house in Melior Street was closed by Magistrate's
order, 5 houses in Queen Elizabeth Street and 3 in Lafone Street were closed
by the Owners after the receipt of Notices under this Act, but without
Magisterial proceedings; and Nos. 10, 40 Lafone Street, and 41 Parish Street
were closed by the Owners, the sites to be included in the new building schemes.
