MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE CENTRES.
Six Infant Welfare Centres have been held fortnightly on the
same days as in previous years.

The following table shows the attendances for 1943 at the six centres maintained by the Council, from which it will be seen the increase reported last year has continued. In these circumstances it has been necessary to provide an additional clinic to relieve the congestion at the Bandon Hill Centre.

MATERNITY WARD.
Throughout the year the arrangements between the Council and
the Carshalton, Beddington and Wallington District (War Memorial)
Hospital for the reception of maternity cases remained the same.

The following table gives particulars of the cases admitted under the Council's scheme during the year:—
