Additional Model Dwellings have been erected since I last reported.
The total population now inhabiting this class of residence
Model amounts to 13,778. The death-rate was equal to 20 3 per
Dwellings. 1,000. The Zymotic death-rate also advanced to 4-2 per
1,000. I offer for your consideration various details
concerning Model Dwellings. They deserve very great attention,
belonging as they do to buildings which house about a sixth of the entire
population of the District. At a future time I propose to discuss the
influence upon your District which the presence of Model Dwellings
exerts. The statistics which are contained in this and all my previous
Eeports will prove useful for this purpose.
