8 cases were referred during the year from varying sources of persons
ostensibly being aged, infirm or incapacitated by handicap or
disease, living in insanitary conditions and not able to receive proper
care and attention.
The necessary removals to appropriate accommodation were effected
in two cases supported by the certificate required of the Medical Officer
of Health. All cases were visited and assessments were supported by
the Chief Public Health Inspector and in certain cases the Social Worker
concerned.
