Notification of tuberculosis was, on the whole, satisfactory.
There were four cases during the year which did not come to
light until after death.
At the end of the year the following numbers of cases were
shown to be suffering from the disease and living in the district,
the total being twenty-six less than that for the previous year.

done by the nurse to the public health department during the
