WATER SUPPLY.
The drinking water for the district is supplied by
the Metropolitan Water Board and consists of Thames
derived stored water, filtered and terminally chlorinated.
A number of complaints were received of "taste"
but in every instance this was found to be due to extra
precautions being taken, due either to abnormal weather
or to conditions produced as a consequence of the War.
