6ft. existing Boilers. The appurtenant work consists of
the extension of existing Boiler House buildings to provide
the necessary increased accommodation, the provision of
flues and fittings.
ROADS NEWLY MADE UP.
Broom Water.
This road has been recently made up under the Private
Street Works Act, 1892, and taken over by the Council.
The materials employed were concrete kerb, tarpaved footpaths,
and tarmacadam carriageway on existing foundation.
The length of the road is nearly 600 feet, the overall
width being 40 feet.
Other Streets regarding which the Council have
passed resolutions to make up under the above Act are
Elmfield Avenue and Christ Church Avenue.

COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF HOUSE REFUSE.
Carts collect daily. The disposal is by tipping and
burning in a destructor.
Only a few complaints of non-removal were received.
