Developmental Clinic
At this Clinic young children are seen by appointment by Dr.
Rona McLean of the Manor Hospital, Epsom, who advises parents on
the mental development of their children. A health visitor and a
mental health social worker of the Authority and a speech therapist
from the Manor Hospital, assist Dr. McLean at this Clinic.
This Developmental Clinic is made possible by the ready cooperation
of Dr. Worters, the Physician-Superintendent of the Manor
Hospital, Epsom, in making available a senior member of his medical
staff to conduct this highly successful clinic, which is much appreciated
by parents of children seen there.
Twenty sessions were held during the year at which 21 children
were seen for the first time and 60 children were seen for a subsequent
case review.
