Dental Care
There was a slight increase in the numbers of expectant and
nursing mothers treated and a fall in the numbers of pre-school
children treated, compared with 1970.

The dental health education carried out by health visitors and other staff at ante-natal clinics has contributed gready to the fact that the number of three and four year old infants inspected in the Borough is 70% above the national average.
