Milk Supply
Carshalton is a Specified Area for the purposes of the Milk (Special

the district must be "Designated" milk. The whole of Surrey is now an
"Attested Area" and the herds are presumably free from tuberculosis.

Biological Testing oj Milk
With the success of the campaign for the eradication of tubercle
from the herds in Surrey, it is no longer necessary to carry out biological
testing of milk except when T.T. milk is sold in the raw state. The
three farms in the district produce T.T. milk but all is heat-treated before
sale.
