During the year the following 186 houses and flats were completed:

Buildings in course of erection at the end of the year were as follows:

Council's Housing Scheme
The dwellings in the ownership of the Council at the year end
totalled 1,313 houses, flats and temporary bungalows.
In addition to the new houses and flats completed during the year and in course of erection, work continued or was commenced, on the following schemes:

December, 1952, comprised 134 premises providing accommodation for
199 families.

end totalled 1,050 compared with 1,829 at the same date 12 months
earlier.
