New Houses.
During the year 29 houses of the following types were completed:—
"Unity" Permanent Prefabricated Council Houses 22
Privately owned under Licence 4
Rebuilt War Damaged Council Houses 2
Rebuilt War Damaged Privately owned Houses 1
Total 29
Houses in course of erection at the end of the year were as follows:—
New Council Houses and Flats 125
Privately owned Houses under licence 1
Rebuilding of War Damaged Privately owned House 1
Total 127
Council's Housing Scheme.
The dwellings in the ownership of the Council at the year end
totalled 915 houses, flats and temporary bungalows.
