Details of the non-genuine samples are as follows:—
Malt Vinegar—Nos. 15 and 18.
Both samples, whilst conforming to the required standard of
acetic acid content, were found to contain added common salt to the
extent of one per cent. Although this is not a normal ingredient of
53
