Swimming Baths and Pools.—There is one privately owned
indoor swimming bath in the district, measuring 46 feet long by
23 feet wide. Occasional visits were made to these premises,
where the water is subjected to a constant process of precipitation,
filtration, and chlorination by gaseous chlorine.
A Swimming Baths Sub-Committee, appointed by the Council,
is preparing a scheme for the construction of a public baths.
