Disinfection and Disinfestation.—Disinfection of premises
was carried out following infectious disease in 409 instances.
One hundred and twenty-one lots of bedding were removed for
the same purpose, while 16 lots were destroyed.
The practice of powdering dustbins with a disinfectant powder
was continued during the warmer months.
Infestation by the bed bug was dealt with in 55 houses in the following way:—
