Ice-Cream
One establishment in the Borough is registered for the manufacture
of ice-cream and 166 for the storage and sale of ice-cream.
Forty visits were paid during the year.

Four samples of ice-cream were taken and examined for bacteriological purity. The results are tabulated below: —

Bacteriological Examination of Cups and Glasses
Eighty swabs were taken from tea cups at various catering
establishments and fourteen swabs were taken from beer glasses at
various public houses during the year, and were submitted to the
Public Health Laboratory for bacteriological examination.
