TODDLERS' CLINICS.
In September, 1938, Toddlers' Clinics were commenced at the
Chestnuts Clinic and at the Municipal Medical Clinic in Lordship Lane,
one session per week at each clinic. The children examined are between
the ages of two and five years, and every effort is made to include those
children who have not, previously, attended at any of the Infant Welfare
Centres. Appointments are sent out from the Central Office and Health
Visitors visit the homes of the children to impress upon parents the
importance of medical supervision of this age-group. The clinics are
conducted by a medical officer assisted by one Health Visitor.
