With regard to disinfestation, slipper baths are provided at the
Disinfecting Station, and persons in a verminous condition are bathed
there while their clothing and bedding are disinfected by steam.
1,797 rooms were disinfected.
7,222 articles were disinfected or destroyed.
281 library books were disinfected.
171 persons were bathed.
During the period that the Prince of Wales's Hospital has been
in the hands of the builders the disinfector has been used for their
purposes, and I am gratified to state that in this particular the Council
have been of very great assistance to the hospital authorities.
COMMON LODGING HOUSES.
There are 5 Common Lodging Houses in the district. All have
been kept under observation and have been found to be satisfactory at
each of the visits.
EXHUMATIONS.
Two exhumations took place at the Tottenham Cemetery under the
supervision of the Sanitary Inspector, in compliance with the Home Office
requirements.
