The Peppers and Ground Gingers were all genuine.
Of the Baking Powders, 3 were genuine and 1 (No. 309)
produced only a trace of carbon di-oxide gas, therefore was
practically useless as a Baking Powder.
The Self-Raising Flours were all genuine.
Of the Vinegars, 24 were unadulterated and 1 (No. 162)
diluted with 10 per cent, of water.
