CARAVANS
The Council, by proceeding under Section 57 of the Surrey County Council
Act, 1931, now have Orders prohibiting the use of the land for the parking of
moveable dwellings within a radius of 880 yards of the sites at Cuddington Way,
Cheam, and Green Lane, Worcester Park.
On three occasions during 1968 vans were found to have been parked on the
land at Cuddington Way and Green Wrythe Lane and Revesby Road, Carshalton.
Steps were taken to ensure their early removal.
Towards the end of 1969 the number of itinerant vans coming into the
Borough began to increase.
