Informal Sample - Onion Sauce Mix:
The Public Analyst considered that the label should name the additional
ingredients required to make the sauce.
The manufacturer stated that no objections to the label had been received in
respect of previous samples submitted to public analysts and did not consider a
change in label necessary.
Formal Sample - Pure Pork:
The sample contained, in addition to pork, salt, emulsifying salts, flavourings,
sodium nitrite and potassium nitrate.
The Public Analyst held that the word 'Pure' was misleading due to the additions
contained in the pork.
The vendor agreed to change the label for the product.
Food Samples - Pesticide Residues Survey

Pesticides Residues Survey.
