It will be appreciated that although the total number
of blind persons does not vary to any great extent from year to year,
there is nevertheless considerable fluctuation in the actual persons
included in these statistics. To illustrate this, details are given
of the number of persons whose names were for various reasons asded
to or removed from the Blind and Partially-Sighted registers.
