The methods employed in clearing premises of rats and mice were as
follows -
Warfarin and other Poison Baits 409

B. Sewer Treatments
(1) Treatment No. 34 - Second Maintenance Treatment (1963-64)
The second maintenance Treatment of soil sewer manholes was
completed on the 26th March, 1964.
As in the past the Anticoagulant poison - Warfarin 0.5% Master Mx was
used with pinhead oatmeal, technical white oil, caster sugar and paranitrophenol
(mould inhibitor) as a bait base.
Rebaiting of all infested manholes continued until no bait takes were
recorded.

(2) First Maintenance Treatment 1964/65
Owing to the prolonged illness of the Rodent Operator and shortage
of staff it was found necessary to cancel this treatment.
However a full treatment will be carried out in March, 1965 prior to
this work being taken over by the London Borough of Sutton.
