B Sewer Treatments
(1) Treatments for 1959/60
In the Annual Report for the year 1959 details were given of the
experimental rat control treatments which were to be carried out in two
areas of the Borough, by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food
The areas chosen for the experiment consisted of
(a) The "Sutton Area" enclosed by the Carshalton and Cheam
Roads, the St Heller and Wimbledon Branch line of the
British Railways, All Saints Road, Benhill Road, St
Barnabas Road, and,
(b) The "Worcester Park Area" enclosed by London Road,
Tudor Avenue, Sandr.ngham Road Lynwood Drive,
Green Lane, Browning Ave nue, Ebbisham Road
Burnham Drive.
