Labelling InfringementAlthough this sample was found to be of genuine canned sauerkraut, it contained no Vitamin C, in spite of the fact that the label stated 'Our manufacturing process safeguards against loss of vitamins, so that our product is of superior taste and quality'
Cautioned The Dutch manufacturers were notified by the importers of the infringement, and a request made for deletion of all reference to Vitamin content on the labels

This article was sold as 'Veal, Ham and Egg' but was not labelled on exposure for sale It was found to consist of veal, ham and egg loaf, containing 72% meat and 12% cereal filler
CautionedUpon informing the retailer of the wrong description given to this article, it was shewn that the commodity had been invoiced as 'Veal, Ham and Egg Galantine' The Manager stated that the assistants had already been instructed to sell it as Galantine, and would give further instructions to always give the correct description to this article No further action was considered necessary
