(1) Home Safety
As a member of the Sutton and Cheam Home Safety Committee
and on their behalf your Medical Officer of Health organised a
Home Safety Display in the Foyer of a local Theatre for ten days
in April, which was opened by the Mayor. A Home Safety Quiz
Competition was run in the local senior schools in connection
therewith and the prizes were presented by Mr. I.B. Melman, the
Theatre Manager, at the Saturday morning children's matinee. The
Display was well attended and several schools sent parties of
children on visits.
A foreword to a Home Safety magazine produced by the Sutton
and Cheam Home Safety Committee was also written.
