conforms.
(C) - Chemical Sampling of Ice Cream
Fat and Total Solids. The Food Standards (Ice Cream) Order
1951 was amended in July 1952. The minimum fat content is now
4 per cent Instead of 5 per cent and milk solids other than fat
5 per cent instead of per cent,
A total of eight samples were taken under the above Orders,,
In one case only did the Public Analyst report a deficiency of
fat. The Manufacturer was informed and a repeat sample taken
showed a fat content well above the prescribed standard.
