Having regard to the investigations being conducted into the quantitative constituents of this foreign product, and the analytical methods of determining the egg yolk solid content, it was decided no further action be taken.
1059Syrup of Hypo-phosphite (Informal)Labelling Infringement (Deficiency of iron)Warning. Upon representation the Manufacturers withdrew all stocks for investigation. They later stated that the preparation was deficient in solution of iron hypophosphite and the constituent had been made and supplied to them in bulk a considerable time ago. The label contained a printer's error.
1020Vinegar (Malt) (Informal)Labelling InfringementThe sample contained a small amount of added salt. The Ministry of Food has under certain circumstances temporarily permitted a special dispensation regarding the addition of salt without declaration on the label.
