Routine disinfection of blankets bedding etc was carried out on the
premises in the above table as required In addition articles of clothing and
bedding parcelsof clothing destined for countries abroad and when necessary
books for both public and private libraries were disinfected on the Public
Health Department premises
An arrangement is in force whereby the South West MiddlesexHospital Manage
ment Committee undertakes to carry out emergency disinfection of smallpox
infected clothing and bedding on demand
