WELFARE OF BLIND AND PARTIALLY-SIGHTED PERSONS
The following table shows the number of blind and partially-sighted persons:—

Of the 60 removed from the Blind register, 46 were due to death and 14 for other reasons. Of the 30
partially sighted people removed from the register, 14 were because of death, 7 were transferred to the
Blind register and 9 removed for other reasons.
