RECUPERATIVE HOLIDAYS
The recuperative holiday scheme continued on the same lines. Initially, 51 recommendations were
received, some applications were withdrawn, a few patients were unable to accept the placement offered,
and eventually 32 holidays were arranged.
Most recuperative holidays last two weeks. In five cases the "full cost" was paid, and the remainder
were charged in accordance with the Council's scale.
