Byelaws as to the Handling, Wrapping and Delivery of Food and
Sale of Food in the Open Air.
The above byelaws, which came into force on the 24th July,
1950, have received special attention by Sanitary Inspectors when
visiting and inspecting food premises and it is pleasing to note that
proprietors and staff of food establishments are in general observing
the requirements. Attention has been drawn to infringements and
advice, together with suggestions for improvements has been given
in many cases in an endeavour to help management and staff to reach
a higher hygienic standard.
On the whole, the byelaws were well received and cooperation
by food traders has been good.
