The number of food premises within the Borough is shown in the following table and has been classified, according to the principal business carried on:—

Inspection of Food Premises.
The inspection of food premises has been steadily maintained
throughout the year, a total of 460 visits being made. Of this number
visits were made as follows to registered premises:—
