Prompt investigation was made and suitable action taken to remedy
the complaints.
PETROLEUM (CONSOLIDATION) ACT 1928 AND
REGULATIONS MADE THEREUNDER.
Fifty-two premises within the Borough are licensed to store a total
of 65,275 gallons of Petrol, Petroleum Mixtures and Cellulose
solutions.
They have received regular inspection to ensure that the various
regulations have been observed. In all a total of 60 visits were made
to the various installations.
One new licence was approved and the total licence fees amounted
to £35 0s. 0d.
Only minor infringements of the Regulations were found.
