The weekly Infant Welfare Session held at St. Winifred's Hall,
Kew was very popular and served a useful purpose in shortening
the journey for numerous mothers. The premises are by no means
satisfactory but alternative accommodation is not available.
The Creche which was opened for one afternoon each week
at the Health Centre, Windham Road, was not well attended and
was discontinued in September.
The "Sitters-In" Service has continued under a voluntary
Committee with Mrs. M. A. Toms, of 4 Lawn Crescent, Kew
Gardens, as Chairman. There is an adequate panel of Sitters-In
but their services are not fully used.
