In addition to their indoor duties in connection with the various clinics, during the year 1947 the Health Visitors paid a total of 5.303 visits, as under:—

Clinic Activities
From the table it will be .seen that all clinics were well attended
during the year.
The new hutted Health Centre was opened at Ham in July
and is proving to be a great asset. Antenatal sessions started at
this Centre in September, helped to relieve the strain on the Health
Centre, Windham Road.
