Puerperal Pyrexia. During 1938 twelve cases of Puerperal
Pyrexia were notified. There were no deaths from Puerperal Sepsis.
Undulant Fever. One case of this disease was brought to the
notice of the Department during the year, the patient being a man
aged 43 years. An investigation revealed that the patient had contracted
the disease whilst out of the Borough, and the matter was
referred to the Medical Officer of Health of the Local Authority
concerned.
