Opposition has been aroused in certain places to the provision
of windows in butcher's shops. In the same districts there are
butchers whose shops are provided with windows, and they do not
appear to have less business or to have more trouble in keeping
their meat than those traders who do not possess windows.

The practice of bringing meat outside the shop either hanging on the sides of doors and windows, or on a slab without covering of any sort should certainly not be allowed.
