SAMPLING OF FOOD AND DRUGS.
A total of 50 food samples, as follows, was taken and submitted
to Dr. J, H. Hamence, F.R.I.C., the Council's Public Analyst, for
examination.

(A starch reduced product but no warning was given that the
intake should be restricted to be effective in a slimming
diet. The manufacturers were requested to re-label

(The bread contained pieces of stale discoloured dough.
The Baker was informed and requested to take greater care
during manufacture.)
