Summary of Inspections
The total number of visits paid by the Public Health Inspectors
and other personnel of the Health Department staff to various premises
for all purposes is summarised below, together with the number of
nuisances or defects found under specific headings.
The visits numbered 8646 as compared with 6253 in the previous
year, the defects dealt with numbered 1247 as compared with 1093
in 1955.
