Registration of Food Preparing Premises.
The registration of these premises is secured by Section 14
of the Food and Drugs Act, 1938 and the number of premises on the
register was 102, being 74 for the manufacture, storage or sale of
ice cream and 28 for the preparation or manufacture of sausages or
preserved foods.
Registration of Manufacturers or Vendors of Ice Cream.
The registration of persons as manufacturers or vendors of or
merchants or dealers in ice cream or other similar commodity is
granted by the Council under Section 158 of the Essex County Council
Act, 1933 and the number of persons so registered at the end of the
year was 71.
