SANITARY INSPECTION OF THE AREA. 21.
Inspection on Complaint.
The number of complaints received at the office and
recorded in the register was 505, as compared with 543 in
the previous year and 301 for the year 1952.
The total inspections made on complaint was 309 and the
number of defects or nuisances revealed was 466, which are
analysed in the following table. Informal notices were
at once served on the owners or occupiers of the premises
concerned.
