Health Education.
The circulation in the district of the Chingford edition of
"Better Health" has been continued. Three pages of the paper
are reserved for matters of local interest, including a complete
list of clinics, dispensaries and welfare centres.
The Central Council for Health Education's film "The
Health of the Nation" was shown for a week in July at the
Odeon Cinema, South Chingford.
A series of the Central Council for Health Education's
posters illustrating the value of fresh air and exercise were
displayed during the year in an Empire Marketing Board frame
outside the Town Hall and from October onwards posters,
folders, leaflets and showcards to encourage the greater use of
the existing health services were exhibited and widely circulated
in the district in connection with the National Fitness Campaign.
