Rag Flock and Other Filling Materials Act, 1951.
Five premises have so far been registered under the Rag Flock and Other
Filling Materials Act, 1951, and three samples of rag flock were obtained and
were satisfactory. There are no premises requiring to be licensed as there is no
manufacture or storage of rag flock in the Borough.
National Assistance Act, 1948, Section 47.
It was not necessary, during 1953, to remove to suitable premises any
persons in need of care and attention.
Complaints.
During 1953 the number of complaints received by the department was
1,736.
