cent.) of the total infant deaths.
Deaths of Illegitimate Infants.
The death rate of illegitimate infants during 1948 was 53.19 per 1,000,
compared with 68.97 for the previous year. The corresponding death rate
of legitimate children was 18.77 (38.52 for 1947).
