POOD AND DRUGS ACT, 1956
Precautions against Contamination of Food Section 13.
The majority of the. Bakehouses, Restaurant Kitchens
and Hotel Kitchens within the Borough have "been inspected, and
the work necessary in order that the premises shall reasonably
comply with the above legislation has either "been completed or
was in progress at the end of the year 1946.
In addition, three public houses and hotel "bars and
cellars have been similarly inspected under this legislation, and
also under Section 89 of the Public Health Act, 1936.
Where necessary, special inspections are made with a
view to minimising the risk of contamination of beer during
refilling of used glasses,"and where the contaminated overflow
is collected and liable to be used for re-sale.
