Table 19.—Slaughter-houses.
The district does not now possess a slaughter-house.
During the year under review 38 pigs were slaughtered on pig
club premises, the slaughtering being carried out under hygienic
conditions and by a licensed slaughterman. All carcases were inspected
by a Sanitary Inspector. No evidence of any diseased conditions was
found.
